Step 1 - Cleaning: Before wrapping your Mag, it is vital to thoroughly inspect, prep, and clean the surface. Make sure your mag is empty before beginning the application process. Oil and grease will be present and must be completely removed. If not, the material will not properly stick to the surface. We recommend using a degreaser formulated for guns to remove any oil or grease from your gun's surface.

Isopropyl alcohol should be used to remove any residue left behind. Wrapping your mag with your bare hands may add natural oil or grease to your mag, so we recommend washing your hands with dish soap after cleaning your mag prior to installation.

Step 2: Draw a line all around the mag following the rim of the gun with a pencil. See below

Remove the mag

Use the green cut tape to create a trim line. Apply the tape so that the bottom of the tape meets the top of the line drawn with pencil. See below

Align the mag wrap to the center of the front of mag using the v cuts as a guide. See below

Wrap one side first (some heat and slight bending will be required to follow the shape of the mag). There are relief cuts to assist with the shaping process. Wrap the other side after trimming the first side. Shown below

Step 3 - Detail trim: Now you can cut along the bottom of the green tape. Remove the excess wrap and the green tape. See below

Heat the mag and apply firm pressure to make sure you have a good bond.
